I loved it back then when it came out (9) I hate Anton Corbijn for trolling Roxette with this video. You (10) Have always loved this, the kicking instrumental against the innocence of the choir makes a fascinating (10) This is their best uptempo song for me. The video is something else, with singing ducks and odd eyebrows, but the whole thing looks like Per and Marie decided to just have some fun, and who could deny them that? I'm quite glad it's done as well as it has. Still, this didn't seem to help the cause and the track failed to make much of an impression anywhere, becoming Roxette's last UK Top 75 entry (bar that remix of Fading Like a Flower with Dancing DJs). My score, like some others, is predominantly for the Almighty Mix, which ditched the divisive children's choir ( found dancing) and ramped up the techno elements of the song, making it a whole lot better. Then again, most of Have a Nice Day was overproduced. No idea how this became a (2) I hate to say it, but Marie’s vocals are atrocious on this one. This could have been written and sung by anyone. Very poor choice of single…Crush On You should have been the second release from (2.5) Super, super boring. I’ve apparently played it three times according to my playcounts, but it really clicked during my (9) Marie looks beautiful in the video - and it's a gorgeous (5) I liked this better when it was called *insert titles of 10 RoxSonx that sound like (5) Yes the video is superb but the song is average at best. Goosebumps all (8) This was a real discovery here. You (10) In love with the instrumental here and the vocals (10) The sheer emotion in the voice. It's a great song, running close to the stock Roxette lyrical themes of sadness, oceans of tears, and the general saddingtons, but there's a power to it that, still in 1999, few of their competitors were able to convey. Given the video's removal from TV, the single under performed and was withdrawn entirely from UK schedules (I can remember seeing it slated on those little upcoming release thingies HMV used to give out) but it was later replaced with that song y'all love more, Stars. Said video is beautifully realised, fitting nicely with the lyrics mourning a lost love. I can't be the only person who hears Unchained Melody in this, the controversial second single from Have a Nice Day that saw it's music video banned across Europe as it appeared to show Marie contemplating suicide.
